[The party was not part of our book. The book continues on the next page with the Birkat Hamazon] "We would like to welcome for the first time, Mr. and Mrs. Eric Lowe!"A common Jewish tradition is to bring props, and to entertain the couple. This is usualy is aided by confettie, streamers, noise makers and more. After they enter all break into song and dance to traditional Jewish music. After a while the newleyweds are sat down and entertained by their guests.

It was amazing, before we knew it, Benny the rabbi had picked Eric up on his shoulders and Jeff, Jennifer's Brother picked Daniel the best man up on his shoulders and we were all dancing!
Weee! Jennifer was very close to falling but all turned out OK!

The Dads!
I think they were excited!
The Moms!
I think they were scared to death! |
Finaly, some entertainment!
It went on, and on and on!!
We danced to "When I fall in love"
This is the blessing over the bread. Rabbi Wanger of Temple Kol Ami said shared some very nice words with us and said the blessing.
Both, Eric's fraternity and Jennifer's society have traditions for weddings. They each gather around the couple and sing a special song to them. We were very lucky we each had many friends to join us.
Toward the end of the evening Eric and Jennifer cut the cake together. They were both good and didn't cover each other with it!
